2010 Formula 1 Racing:Belgian Grand PrixAugust 24, 2010 by Marc Jerbs

On Sunday, F1 racing returns after a three-week break at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps for the Belgian Grand Prix. With only 7 races left for the season, it's still a neck-to-neck battle between McLaren-Mercedes and RBR-Renault.

Team RBR-Renault have snatched 1st place in the constructor and driver's standing after a superb win by Mark Webber in the last race at Hungary. They now have an eight-point lead over McLaren-Mercedes in the Constructor's championship. While Mark Webber holds a slim four-point lead over McLaren-Mercedes Lewis Hamilton in the driver's standing.

Team Ferrari has performed well in the last two races before the break. They scored a 1-2 finish at the Germany Grand Prix and a 2-4 finish at Hungarian Grand Prix. They still have a slim chance to improve their current position in the standings. However, they should perform consistently in the last seven races of the season.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed RBR-Renault's Sebastien Vettel as the favorite to win the Belgian Grand Prix this Sunday. However, Ferrari's Fernando Alonso looms as a major threat for team RBR-Renault.
