2010 March Madness Tournament:The Sweet 16 RoundMarch 23, 2010 by Bryan Polks

After 4 days of insane college basketball games, there are only 16 remaining college basketball teams vying for the slot in the Final Four.

The Sweet 16 round are on schedule this coming March 25-26. The winners of this round will secure a spot in the Elite Eight round.

The first two rounds of the March Madness Tournament were filled with a lot of non-stop basketball action, hustle plays and major upsets.

Among the No. 1 seeds, it was Kansas that was sent packing by Northern Iowa during their second round match.

Syracuse, Duke and Kentucky all have won their respective matches and easily moved on to the Sweet 16 round.

Among the elite college teams, there are also Cinderella teams that have emerged during the first two rounds of competitions. They are Northern Iowa, St. Mary's and Cornell. These 3 college basketball teams have displayed their courage and determination when they won over highly seeded and elite college basketball teams.

The sports book handicappers still installed Kansas, Duke and Syracuse as the favorites to beat their Sweet 16 opponents. Yet, anything can happen as what we have witnessed in the first two rounds of the March Madness Tournament.

Sit back, relax and enjoy the games.
