NASCAR Sprint Cup Series:Autism Speaks 400May 12, 2010 by Marc Jerbs

On Sunday, the NASCAR Sprint Cup series moves to Dover International Speedway in Dover, DE for the Autism Speaks 400. Race time is scheduled at 1 PM EST. However, initial weather forecast indicates that it would be a wet and wild Sunday afternoon for the race card drivers and fans.

Denny Hamlin notched his 3rd win of the season in last week's race at Darlington. This phenomenal driver sits at 6th place in the driver's standing. But it was Jimmie Johnson's lackadaisical performance that was the talk of the race after he his car was severely damage in lap 180.

With Jimmie Johnson unable to finish the race, he's now in 2nd place in the driver's standing with Kevin Harvick leading the pack.

Other notable drivers in the Top 10 are: Kyle Busch, Jeff Gordon, Matt Kenseth, Greg Bifle, Kurt Busch Jeff Burton and Mark Martin.

This Sunday, Jimmie Johnson has a chance to redeem himself as he tries to defend and win the Autism Speaks 400 three races in a row. The sportsbook handicappers have installed Johnson as the favorite to win this Sunday afternoon. However, Jeff Gordon and Kyle Busch are lurking behind him and could snatch victory right under Johnson's grasps.
