NASCAR Sprint Cup Series: Heath Calhoun 400April 28, 2010 by Marc Jerbs

On Saturday, the NASCAR caravan travels to Richmond International Speedway for the Heath Calhoun 400. Expect a fair weather on racing day which is ideal for an exciting and fast pace race.

In last week's race, Kevin Harvick won the race which ended his 115-race winless streak. He's only 26 points behind Jimmie Johnson who leads the Sprint Cup Series driver's standing with 1232 points. The other driver who are inside the Top 10 are, Greg Bifle, Matt Kenseth, Kyle Busch, Mark Martin, Kurt Busch, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Denny Hamlin and Jeff Gordon.

Racing fans would witness again the growing competition within the Hendrick Motorsports this weekend. Emotions are running high and intense rivalry is heating between teammates Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon. Last week's race added fuel into fire, when Jimmie Johnson took the blame for making a mistake that led to teammate Jeff Gordon's car wreck. This weekend's race could be testy for both teammates.

The sportsbook handicappers installed Jimmie Johnson as the odds on favorite to win the Heath Calhoun 400 race. If the brewing rivalry between Johnson and Gordon continues this Saturday, chances are Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch and Mark Martin have equal chances to steal the win for this race.
