2010 NFL Week 7:Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Miami DolphinsOctober 20, 2010 by Marc Jerbs

On Sunday, the Miami Dolphins hosts the Pittsburgh Steelers for an AFC game at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL. This would be a great game day for the fans since both teams are trying to position themselves in their respective divisions in the AFC.

The Dolphins are coming of a thrilling 23-20 OT win against the Green Bay Packers. They have won all three of their road games but have yet to win one at home. With a 3-2 record, they are in third place in the AFC East behind the NY Jets and New England Patriots.

Against the Steelers, Dolphins QB Chad Henne must find a way to counter Pittsburgh suffocating passing and rushing defense. He could be provoked to throw the ball hurriedly, which may lead to incomplete passes as well as costly interceptions. The Dolphins' offensive linemen must protect QB Henne at all time since the Steelers will set up series of blitzes to get disrupt the Dolphins' offensive plays.

Last week, Steelers' QB Ben Roethlisberger passed for 257 yards that resulted into 3 TDs and easily blended with his teammates upon his return from his 4-game suspension. There was rustiness inside Big Ben's armory during the early minutes of the game. As the game progressed, he was back with a vengeance as he led the Steelers to a 28-10 win over the Cleveland Browns.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the Pittsburgh Steelers as the 3-point favorite to beat the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins are poised to win at their home field during this season. We will know by Sunday if they will earn this first home win against the Steelers.
