2010 Turkish Grand PrixMay 25, 2010 by Marc Jerbs

On Sunday, the Formula 1 Racing moves to Istanbul for the Turkish Grand Prix. It would be a 58-lap race in the 5.338 km Istanbul Park racing circuit.

The RBR-Renault team started the season slowly but after six grand prix races into the season they now lead the driver and constructor's standings. RBR-Renault teammates Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel occupy the 1st and 2nd place in the standing with 78 points a piece. But Ferrari's Fernando Alonso and Mclaren-Mercedes' Jenson Button are not far behind with 75 and 70 points across their names.

The 1st half of the season is shaping up between the battle of three top teams; RBR-Renault, Ferrari and McLaren-Mercedes. These three teams have consistently shown their racing form in every race.

Although some glitches have surfaced with their racing cars but this didn't affect their performances this season. The dark horse Mercedes GP is slowly picking up their race pace and have somewhat fixed their early season worries with their race car.

The racing handicappers have installed RBR-Renault's Sebastien Vettel as the favorite to win the Turkish Grand Prix. Teammate Mark Webber and Ferrari's Fernando Alonso may pose a threat on Vettel's quest for a win at the Istanbul Park racing circuit.
