NASCAR Sprint Cup Series:Crown Royal 400April 27, 2011 by Marc Jerbs

On Saturday, the NASCAR Spring Cup Series moves to Richmond International Raceway in Virginia for the Crown Royal 400. The D-shaped oval raceway has 14-degree turns and could seat about 112,029 racing fans.

After a 12-day hiatus, NASCAR racing is back on its last race for the month of April. Jimmie Johnson turned up as the winner in a hotly contested race in Talladega. Teammate Dale Earnhardt Jr., gave Johnson the needed push to edge out Clint Bowyer for the chequered flag.

Dale Earnhardt Jr., earned a lot of praise for NASCAR aficionados as he dispatched his personal goal in lieu of his team's victory.

Junior knows that his time will come this season as he attempts to end his winless streak in his NASCAR career.

Carl Edwards has a 5-point lead over Jimmie Johnson in the driver's standings. The rest of the Top 10 drivers are Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kevin Harvick, Kurt Busch, Kyle Busch, Ryan Newman, Matt Kenseth, Juan Montoya and Clint Bowyer.

The sportsbooks handicappers have installed Carl Edwards, Jimmie Johnson and Kyle Busch as co-favorites to win the Crown Royal 400. Only one of this three could emerge as a winner, expect a heated race as these three drivers outrun each other towards the chequered flag.
