2012 NBA Season Matchup:Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Miami HeatFebruary 07, 2012 by Marc Jerbs

On Tuesday, the Cleveland Cavaliers face the Miami Heat on the road at the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, FL. Tip-off is seat at 7:30PM ET.

The Cleveland Cavaliers still have a long way to go before they are again one of the elite teams in the NBA. However, rookie PG Kyrie Irving is slowly leading the way for the Cavaliers' goal to reach the upper echelon in the NBA.

The Cavs are coming off a thrilling win over the defending champions Dallas Mavericks in their last game. Irving scored on a clutch lay-up with 15.8 seconds to go to seal a 91-88 win over the Mavs.

The Miami Heat leads the Southeast Division with an 18-6 record. They have only two losses at home and have a 5-game winning streak record under their belt. Their latest was a 95-89 over the Raptors last Sunday.

Expect the Big 3 to lead the charge again from the start. MVP-candidate Lebron James' efforts are slowly rubbing to his fellow teammates and it would be impossible to stop the Heat once Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh join the fray.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the Miami Heat as a 13-point favorite to beat the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavaliers may have a chance for an upset win if they could duplicate their resiliency and hard work when they won over the Mavericks.
