2013 NBA Second Round Playoffs - Game 2:Oklahoma City Thunder vs.
Memphis GrizzliesMay 07, 2012 by Marc Jerbs

On Tuesday, the Oklahoma City Thunder hosts Game 2 of the NBA Conference semifinals against the Memphis Grizzlies. Game time is set to start 9:30PM ET at the Chesapeake Energy Arena.

Defending Western Conference champion Oklahoma City Thunder managed to escaped with a Game 1 win over the Memphis Grizzlies. It was another vintage performance of superstar Kevin Durant that staged a comeback win in their last game.

Oklahoma City must still make some adjustments with their set plays especially in their defense schemes as the Grizzlies managed to score at ease in the shaded area. The Thunder must refrain from asking too much from Kevin Durant during crunch time. His teammates must also help and contribute in Game 2.

The Memphis Grizzlies was so close in stealing Game 1 against the Thunder. However, they did not score in their last four possessions and eventually give in with the clutch performance of Kevin Durant.

Memphis could learn from their Game 1 loss. They now know that they have the players that could match up well with Oklahoma. If the Grizzlies could come up with the same intensity and passion for Game 2, they may have a chance to tie the series.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the Oklahoma City Thunder as a 2.5-point favorite to beat the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday night.
