2013 NFL Playoffs:Conference ChampionshipsJanuary 15, 2013 by Marc Jerbs

On Sunday, the AFC/NFC Conference Championships is the next step for the last four remaining NFL teams for a shot at Super Bowl XLVII.

In the NFC, the Atlanta Falcons will host the San Francisco 49ers for the NFC championship game at 3PM ET in Georgia Dome, Atlanta. The Falcons eked out a 30-28 win over the Seattle Seahawks in last week's divisional playoffs. The 49ers scored a masterful 45-31 win over the Packers to earn the second spot and face the Falcons in the NFC title game.

At the AFC, the Baltimore Ravens will face the New England Patriots at 6:30PM ET for the AFC title game in Gillette Stadium, Massachusetts. The Ravens survived a 38-35 two overtime win over the top seed Broncos. It will be the third consecutive road game for the Ravens on Sunday night. The Patriots dismantled the Texans for a 41-28 win and earn the shot to host the AFC championship at their home field.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the San Francisco 49ers and New England Patriots as the favorites to win their respective conference championship title game and advance to Super Bowl XLVII.
