2013 NHL Season:NY Rangers vs Boston BruinsFebruary 12, 2013 by Marc Jerbs

On Tuesday, the NY Rangers travels to TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts and will face the upstart Boston Bruins. Game time is set to start at 7:30PM ET.

The Bruins is off to the best start in franchise history with an 8-1-1 record in their first 10 games. Boston can extend their win streak to four games if they could be the NY Rangers. Their lone loss was handed by the Rangers last January 23, 4-3 in overtime.

It would be payback time for Bruins as they host Rangers at home. Boston is fresh from a 3-1 victory against Buffalo last Sunday. Playing at home would be another incentive and edge when they meet the Rangers.

The New York Rangers also has a two-game winning streak. They have beaten the Islanders and Lightning in their last two games. However, they would want to improve their dismal 1-3-0 road record.

The Rangers knows that the Bruins are tough to beat at home this season. However, they do may have the upper hand since they are the first team to hand the Bruins its first loss of the season. It would be a huge morale boost for New York if they could do it again on the road.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the Boston Bruins as a 1.5-point favorite to beat the New York Rangers on Tuesday night.
