2014 MLB Season:Toronto Blue Jays at
Milwaukee BrewersJuly 01, 2014 by Marc Jerbs

On Tuesday, the Toronto Blue Jays will host the Milwaukee Brewers in a 2-game series at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada. Game time is set at 1:07PM ET.

Toronto's advantage atop the AL East has shrink as they followed up their impressive hot start of 20-4 record with a 7-15 losing record. The Blue Jays have problems getting hits with runners in scoring position. Last Sunday, they were shutout for the fifth time this season after a 4-0 loss to the White Sox.

RF Jose Bautista's return could be crucial for Toronto. He's due to return in the starting lineup after he suffered a strained left hamstring last June 22 against Cincinnati.

The Milwaukee Brewers own the NL's best record of 51-33. They have won 10 of their last 12 games on the road. Milwaukee will send pitcher Marco Estrada on the mound while Toronto will counter with Drew Hutchison.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the Toronto Blue Jays as a 1.5-point favorite to beat the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday afternoon.
