2014 NBA Season:Miami Heat at Cleveland CavaliersMarch 18, 2014 by Marc Jerbs

On Tuesday, the Cleveland Cavaliers will host the defending champion Miami Heat at Quicken Loans Arean in Cleveland, OH. Tip-off is set at 7PM ET.

Cleveland is currently in 10th place in the Eastern Conference. They will have to fight out for eight spot without All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving. He's out for two weeks with a strained tendon he suffered in their road loss against the Clippers last Sunday.

The Cavaliers will have a tough home stand as they will meet top contending teams in their respective conferences. Cleveland will first meet Miami, then Oklahoma City and Houston.

The Miami Heat will try to build another streak after a 113-104 win over the Houston Rockets in their last game. Miami was only 1-5 in their last five games and have a 3.5 game deficit against Indiana for the No.1 seed in the Eastern Conference.

Miami will try to take advantage of an Irving-less Cleveland and hopes to extend their nine-game winning streak against the Cavaliers. The sportsbook handicappers have installed the Miami Heat a 9-point favorite to beat the Cleveland Cavaliers.
