2014 NBA Season:Brooklyn Nets at Miami HeatApril 08, 2014 by Marc Jerbs

On Tuesday, the two-time defending champion Miami Heat will face the Brooklyn Nets at the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, FL. This is the 4th and last meeting between the two teams in the regular season.

The Miami Heat has defeated all 28 opposing NBA teams this season. Against Brooklyn, Miami has yet to taste its first win against them this season. The Heat has come up short in all three meeting against the Nets. In all three losses, Miami was outrebounded by an average of 8 boards.

Miami could be without All-Star guard Dwayne Wade again in this game. They have won five of their last six games and will do its best to nail its first win against Brooklyn.

Brooklyn is also in a tear late in the season as they have won five of their last six games. The Nets have a healthy line up as Kevin Garnett returned from a 5 week hiatus due to back spasms. The Nets are 33-7 when scoring at least 100 points but only 9-27 when it doesn't.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the Miami Heat as a 6.5-point favorite to beat the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night.
