2015 MLB Season:Chicago Cubs vs. NY MetsJune 30, 2015 by Marc Jerbs

On Tuesday, the NY Mets will host the Chicago Cubs in a three-game series at the Citi Field in New York, NY. The 1st game is set to start at 7:10PM ET.

The NY Mets will go for its 5th straight win when it plays the Chicago Cubs. Though the Mets have struggled offensively in their recent games, it was well compensated with elite pitching of their pitchers.

With the impending return of Daniel Murphy in the Mets' lineup, New York may finally have the energy and boost to awaken their struggling offense.

The Chicago Cubs also has problem in their offense. They have a season-worst five-game losing streak. Chicago has a young, inexperienced group and they are being schooled by teams with veteran players.

The Mets will send Jonathon Niese (3-7, 4.12 ERA) on the mound while the Cubs will counter with Kyle Hendricks (2-4, 4.46 ERA).

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the NY Mets as the favorite to beat the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday night.
