2016 College Basketball:West Virginia vs. TexasFebruary 16, 2015 by Marc Jerbs

On Tuesday, 10th ranked West Virginia will play 24th ranked Texas in a Big 12 Conference match up at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas. Game time is set at 7PM ET.

West Virginia is currently tied for first place in the Big 12 Conference with Kansas. They will have an opportunity to stay on top and also get a chance for some payback against Texas.

The Mountaineers will try to take back its 56-49 loss against the Longhorns last January 20. Texas managed to hold West Virginia to 33.3% FG shooting and season low in points.

Texas' defense was not that good in their two recent losses against Oklahoma and Iowa State. The Longhorns fell two games out of first place with their string of losses but has a chance to recovers with four of its next five games will be played at home.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Texas as a 2-point favorite to beat West Virginia on Tuesday night.
