On Tuesday, the Cleveland Indians will host the Washington Nationals in a two-game series at Progressive Field in Cleveland, OH. The first pitch is set at 7:10AM ET.

These two teams are in the opposite sites of the league. However, both teams are on top of their respective division. The Indians has a 5½ game lead over the Tigers in AL Central while the Nationals has a 5-game lead over the NY Mets and Miami Marlins at the NL East.

The first game of the two-game series will feature an intriguing pitching matchup. Nationals lefty Gio Gonzalez will face Indians righty Danny Salazar on Tuesday night. Gio Gonzalez is 6-8 with 19 starts this year but has pitched much better in their last four games going 3-1 with a 3.80 ERA.

First time All-Star Danny Salazar is also on a tear this season. He's 11-3 and ranked third in the AL with a 2.75 ERA. He has not lost a game since May 22, going 7-0 with a 3.61 ERA in his last nine starts.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the Cleveland Indians as the favorites to beat the Washington Nationals on Tuesday night.
