2016 National League Championship Series:Chicago Cubs vs Los Angeles DodgersOctober 18, 2016 by Marc Jerbs

On Tuesday, the Los Angeles Dodgers will host Game 3 of the 2016 National League Championship Series against the Chicago Cubs at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, CA. The first pitch is set at 8PM ET.

Chicago Cubs pitcher Jake Arrieta and Los Angeles Dodger lefty Rich Hill will square in Game 3 of the best of seven series, which is even at one game apiece. Jake Arrietta will be on the mound for the first time since Game 3 of the NLDS last October 10 against San Francisco. He got a no-decision and allowed two runs in six innings.

Against the Dodgers, he shut them down in his last two start in the regular season. Los Angeles players know that they will have a tough battle against him but if they could capitalize any Arrieta's pitching mistakes, they have a chance to win the game.

Lefty Rich Hill is 0-2 in three career start in the playoffs. He has never face the Chicago Cubs but he is up to bounce back from a loss he got in Game 2 of the NLDS against Washington. All he need to do is to stay on course with his pitching plan and give every effort inning by inning.

The baseball handicappers have installed the Chicago Cubs as the favorite to win Game 3 of the 2016 National League Championship Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday night.
