On Thursday, the defending champion Golden State Warriors will host Game 1 of the 2016 NBA Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Game time is set 9PM ET at the ORACLE Arena in Oakland, California.

This year's NBA Finals is a rematch of the 2015 NBA Finals wherein the Golden State Warriors stamped their small-ball play to claim their Larry O'Brien trophy. It may be a rematch but this time around the Cleveland Cavaliers will an injury-free roster.

Joining Lebron James in this NBA Finals is a healthy Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving. Both players were injured when Cleveland met Golden State last time around. Cleveland was in cruise control in the Eastern Conference as it easily dispatch all East teams that stand in their way.

Golden State's path to the NBA Finals this season was different from the last one. Season MVP Stephen Curry suffered ankle and knee injuries during the playoffs. And the Warriors was forced to dig deep when the Thunder had a 3-1 series lead in the Western Conference Finals.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the Golden State Warriors as a 5.5-point favorite to beat the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday night.
