2016 NFL Season Week 2:New York Jets vs. Buffalo BillsSeptember 13, 2014 by Marc Jerbs

On Thursday, the Buffalo Bills will host the New York Jets at the New Era Field (formerly Ralph Wilson Stadium) in Week 2 of the 2016 NFL Season. Kick-off is set at 8:25PM ET.

The Buffalo Bills will held its opening home game after starting the 2016 NFL season on the road against the Baltimore Ravens. Buffalo was handcuffed by Baltimore's lockdown defense as they were limited to 176 yards throughout the game.

Bills' head coach Rex Ryan saw first-hand how his team's offense struggle throughout the game. Although he knew it will different once they have their opening season game in front of their home fans. QB Tyrod Taylor showed promise in his first game for Buffalo but he needs to move on from their Week 1 loss and focus on their next match at home.

The New York Jets showed a lot of character after a back and forth game against the Cincinnati Bengals in their Week 1 match. Bengals' Mike Nugent 47-yard field goal in the waning seconds in the 4th quarter was enough to clinch a 23-22 win over the Jets.

The Jets was able to sacked Bengals' QB Andy Dalton seven times and intercepted him once. However, New York had opportunities to close-out the Bengals but could not sustain their defensive intensity in the final quarter.

Expect both New York and Buffalo to slug it out to nail their first win and not went down with a 0-2 record. The sportsbook handicappers have installed the Buffalo Bills as a 1-point favorite to beat the New York Jets on Thursday night.
