2017 MLB Season:Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Los Angeles DodgersJuly 04, 2017 by Marc Jerbs

On Tuesday, the Los Angeles Dodgers will host the Arizona Diamondbacks in a three-game series at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California. The first game to the series will start at 9:10pm ET.

Two of the hottest baseball teams will test each other out who is the best in the NL West. Los Angeles has a 2 ½ games lead over Arizona for the top spot in the NL West. Arizona could leapfrog Los Angeles into 1st place if they complete a three-game series. If the Dodgers flip it around, they could increase their lead to 5 ½ games.

To start the three-game series, the Dodgers will give the ball to their ace pitcher Clayton Kershaw. He is 12-2 and it will be his 18th start of the season. Clayton Kershaw has a 2.32 ERA with 135 strikeouts on 116 1/3 innings pitched.

Arizona will opposed Clayton Kershaw with left-hander Patrick Corbin. This is a redemption game for Corbin as he allowed 5 runs in his last start against the Dodgers and went out of the game with tightness in his hamstring.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the Los Angeles Dodgers as a 1.5-point favorite to beat the Arizona Diamondback on Tuesday night.
