Magic eager to pull tricks over
the CavaliersMay 20, 2009 by Marc Jerbs

The Eastern Conference Finals will start on Wednesday, May 20 at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. The Cavaliers have the home court advantage throughout the playoffs and are well rested after a back-to-back series sweep of their respective opponents.

The Cavaliers displayed their tremendous team defense and explosive offense in their previous games. These factors have put them as the heavy favorite to beat the Magic and gain outright entry to the NBA Finals. Most believe that it will be another match up sweep, while some thought the Cavs will clinch in 5 games.

Let's not forget that the Magic owned the Cavaliers during the regular season with 2 wins in their 3 games. Again, the Magic can use a couple of tricks from the regular season games and let the Cavaliers tastes their first loss in the playoffs. For Magic to upset the Cavs they must control the defensive glass; limit their fouls to keep their starters from foul trouble, and lastly sprayed them with 3-point baskets.

For the Cavaliers, they know how to adjust on whatever is thrown to them. To protect their home court advantage, they must control the offensive glass for easy put backs, open up the inside lane to create a space for Lebron maneuver and limit the Magic's outside shooting.

These teams have a rivalry on going; styles make great match-ups but only one will advanced to the NBA Finals.
