On Saturday, the Moonee Valley Racecourse in Victoria, Australia will host the 2021 Cox Plate.

The Cox Plate is a Group 1 race for horses aged three years old and over.

It will cover a total race distance of 2040 and run under weight for age conditions.

The total purse for this race is set A$5 million, the winner will receive A$3 million.

Post time is set at 5:10PM AEDT.

The final field of 10 horses has been declared for the 2021 Cox Field.

Two-time Group 1 winner and star import Zaaki will start in barrier 6 and will be ridden by James McDonald.

Four-time Group 1 winner and NZ mare Probabeel will race for her 2nd attempt in the Cox Plate and will start in barrier 7.

Joining them is reining Australian Horse of the Year, Verry Elleegant, who will start in barrier 9.

Caulfield Guineas winner, Anamoe will also participate and start in barrier 10.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Zaaki as the horse to beat on Saturday's 2021 Cox Plate.
