On Saturday, UFC middleweight champion Alex Pereira will make his 1st title defense against former middleweight champion Israel Adesanya.

This highly-anticipated rematch will start 10:00PM EDT at the Kaseya Center in Miami, FL.

Alex Pereira battled toe-to-toe against Israel Adesanya in UFC 281.

He was trailing heading into the final round but performed well during crunch time and won over the deemed unbeatable Israel Adesanya.

Pereira now holds a 3-0 record against Adesanya across two sports.

He successfully transitioned himself from an outstanding kickboxing career to mixed martial arts.

He's now a champion and confident to beat Adesanya for the 4th time.

Israel Adesanya showed in UFC 281 that he can mix things up in the octagon by adding grappling techniques in his arsenal.

He's known for his superb counter-striking style but has added a new dimension in his game.

He lost some steam in the final round of UFC 281 and eventually was overwhelmed by Pereira.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Israel Adesanya as the favorite to win over Carlos Pereira on Saturday night's UFC 287.
